South excels at YVC meet

South Davidson finished fourth overall in the Yadkin Valley Conference championship meet on Wednesday at Pfeiffer University despite having only six swimmers.

Haylie Moore win the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke for the South girls while Hunter Query, the lone South boy swimmer, was first in the 100 breast.

South will participate in the regionals on Feb. 1 in Cary.
